Trainer Bio
During my gap year, I gained 9kg through inactivity and comfort eating. After being prodded in the stomach by my grandmother and told how fat I was, I decided to do something about it. I joined a gym and embarked on a healthier eating regime. Within nine months I had lost the fat I had gained and developed muscles I never new I had.
I trained every other day for an hour plus, and felt better than I had in a very long time. I then realised that I would love to help others like myself. People who need a little push in the right direction.
I can give you the results you hope for. Also, I was born with a congenital heart disorder, and I am here tell you, that has never and will never hold me back. If I can do it, so can you.
My Qualifications:
- Level 2 Gym Instructor
- Level 3 Personal Trainer
- Circuit Class Instructor
- Kettlebells Instructor

Specialisations
If you’re looking to narrow down your fitness goals towards this specific sport, then I’m your go-to. Olympic Weightlifting is far more complex than it may seem but by no means is it impossible. Within these sessions, you’ll learn from the very basics to work your way up to becoming your own pro at these two lifts. These being: the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch!
I’ll teach you the simple techniques to get you started, as well as the building blocks to nail down the exercises and mobility work that’ll allow to efficiently work through these specific movements
This is for those who are looking to further their fitness capabilities within their specific sports. Whether you’re training for your next big rugby game, looking to improve your supplementary strength for your next rowing race or triathlon, I’m your additional trainer! Strength & Conditioning itself is a broad term, but it’s one that covers all bases to help you improve in being a well rounded and better athlete. As previously stated whatever your sport, there’s always a way to help you improve. So in these sessions we’ll dive into it with heavy detail to draw out any weaknesses that could halt your performance and how you feel.
Although, even if you’re not in a sports team or training for your next athletic adventure, this can still benefit you! The beauty of incorporating sports strength into your training is the fact that it improves your joint function and reinforces the working tissues to develop further. Making simple tasks in your daily life become easier over time.
This ones a little different. For those of you who currently have a medical condition, you can be referred to me by your doctor. These sessions last around 30 minutes as the general structure of the training is based on groundwork. Building the body around the medical condition the patient has been referred for, whether it’s recovering from stroke or needing to maintain arthritis, these sessions help improve your lifestyle. These are also the safest gateways into using exercise to better your condition and therefore, your life. The list of conditions that allow you eligibility into GP Referral are:
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Osteoarthritis
Osteoporosis
Stroke
Hypertension
Joint Replacements
Joint Pain
Mild Back Pain
Multiple Sclerosis
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Obesity
Diabetes
Specified further from an aspect within GP Referral, this is for those of you who are coming out of phase 3 cardiac rehab and onto phase 4. Which is where I come in! After signing a contact with the John Radcliffe hospital in 2020 (before COVID struck), patients from their rehabilitation scheme come to me for their long term development to improve the state of their heart condition and their lives thereafter. These sessions can range from 30 minutes to an hour in length of time. Mainly because these are just like standard PT sessions, but with far more intricacies in how exercise can better your health. For example, I will be constantly monitoring particular things such as blood pressure and oxygen levels. This’ll allow us to see how you progress, but also what type of training your body responds best to, to develop your heart and overall health.
A far more relaxed area to fitness I offer, though don’t be disillusioned, this is far from easy. By far one of the more calm ways to elevate your fitness by maintaining exercises/poses in an isometric/static position. These 1-1 Yoga sessions will allow you to work through your breathing and channel how a shift in focus from physical work to breath can make things appear easier, thanks to being in a more relaxed state of mind. You’ll be surprised at how the mind is able to take over and completely revert a negative way of thinking, immediately into a more positive one.
Sometimes, workouts can get somewhat stagnant. Therefore a new direction has to be looked into, enter the Kettlebells. A diverse piece of kit that can be used for a variety of various exercises. With added bonus of unevenly distributed weight, it allows more core work and activating more deep tissue muscles to increase overall stability across your body, especially within your joints. So if joint strength and stability is something you know your body requires, then this is certainly something for you!
One simple piece of equipment can make all the difference in improving fitness.
