Outdoor Training, for the majority of us, has become a thing of the past and we’ve lost the functionally advanced machines that our bodies are capable of becoming. The outdoors is a vastly under-utilised gym that we all have great access to, yet we never visit it. Outdoor PT training with myself (BoldFitness) will be the prime opportunity to improve your mobility, power and endurance using multiplanar movements through various outdoor terrains such as watery streams and grassy fields.
Outdoor training isn’t just a different environment for you visually, there are plenty of immune system benefits to this too. For example, the term “getting weathered” simply refers to your body adapting to colder weather. And when your body does adapt to this, it becomes more resilient to the colder weather and therefore, in theory helps your immune system’s resistance to colds and bugs. Again, this is something we’ve lost in our evolution of becoming more office based and sedentary on our computers for work. So this is your opportunity to regain what’s been lost and reclaim the body that our ancestors, such as the Ancient Greeks and Egyptians, had! Which was in fact natural and functional strength, dealing with whatever obstacles were thrown their way. Outdoor training also provides equipment you and your body’s are not accustomed to, providing furthermore adaptations for your machine like bodies.

To train in any weather! As previously stated, Training to make you and your body more weathered allows for greater adaption for your body both inside and out. So expect a war between yourself and the weather.
